Wireless Sensors
The SWIPS™ system comes with a series of 16 Sensors that are self-powered for extended periods of operation through solar cells and rechargeable batteries. They are wireless and connected to each other. Because it is a 3-axis system and geo-referenced, the exact coordinate and position of each sensor is known at all times. The sensors also don't need to be oriented in any specific position thereby reducing the margin of error. The sensors are solid, durable and water-resistant. Add to that the flexible attachment module and you can place the sensors virtually anywhere: e.g. the wall of a mine or on any type of hard ground. The sensors are self-calibrating, i.e. they automatically find the correct operational setting. Their high bandwidth and sensitivity allow them to quickly transfer large amounts of accurate information to the User Interface.
